About The Author
ZOMINAV is an educator, who earned her B.A. in International Affairs and Economics and her M.A.T. in Pedagogy from The University of Maine at Orono. She is a cultural mentor and advocate for immigrant families. With more than 27 years of teaching experience, she has helped students from diverse backgrounds succeed academically while remaining grounded in their cultural identity. A polyglot language teacher, She taught in Maine and Massachusetts, USA, where her students ranked among the top in the National French Exam. She is deeply connected to African cultural traditions. She is passionate about helping immigrant families raise confident, educated, and bicultural children.
Through her writing, workshops, and educational work, she seeks to empower parents with practical tools to guide their children toward success while preserving the values and heritage that shape who they are.
